I for one, have had enough of the plastic
Puppy by Eero Aarnio. To me, it's a little too ubiquitous to be considered the icon it appears to be held up to be. I propose that it gets replaced by a new plastic animal, and would like you to consider Jaime Hayon's
chicken.

What do you think - reckon it'll catch on in the same way?

I LOVE IT! I'll have the chicken over the puppy any day!
I think you either love chickens or can leave them. May the best animal win!
As a Portuguese guy, I'm in favour of the gallo. As a sandtonite, I'll take the puppy any day.
Absolutely mad, but fantastic.
I'm kind of bored with the puppy - although I do like its clean lines. We have been over-exposed to it in so many issues of so many design magazines. The chicken is quirky - I like it, my only fear is that Nando's are going to grab it as their mascot ...
